Selena Gomez just came out with this song and we both loved it and wanted to do a Lose You To Love Me piano cover right away! The problem is, Greg (aka “B0b”) is out with a super cold and can barely talk let alone sing 😂. What to do?! How about Nan-Z sings solo on this one?!

Hey guys, Greg here! To be honest, I’ve been BEGGING Liz to do some solo stuff for us for as long as B0b & Nan-Z has existed (we just turned one a couple days ago!). But it wasn’t until a perfect storm hit of my super cold + Lose You To Love Me coming out + reflecting on our first “birthday” that Liz FINALLY agreed to!

We’ve also just been thinking about ways to hop on cover songs faster. If you guys saw our Instagram and Facebook post from yesterday, we mentioned how we released 50 songs and videos in the past 52 weeks 😅… all while living in different parts of the country — and sometimes hemisphere!. While we loved a good challenge over the past year, the way we batch-filmed our videos made it impossible to ever cover a new song right when it comes out — like when people are going to YouTube and searching for it.

So the “B0b & Nan-Z v2.0” we mentioned on FB and Insta will be us going solo when we can if it means we can cover a new song faster. We still have enough of our “traditional” B0b & Nan-Z-style videos in the queue to last until March 2020!! So our “duo” isn’t going anywhere. We’re just going to be sprinkling solos in when we can, and they won’t be on a set schedule — they’ll be random.

You guys that have been following Liz on her live streams already know how different the same song can sound when she sings solo — it’s amazing.
