Someone You Loved cover by Lewis Capaldi coming up!! This was the first song we ever heard from Lewis Capaldi, and we knew after first listen we wanted to do either a Someone You Loved acoustic cover or a Someone You Loved piano cover of this beautiful tune.

We had already seen several Someone You Loved lyric videos, karaoke videos, and of course covers by other artists — so for our B0b & Nan-Z cover, we wanted to do something unique. The funny thing is, we ended up doing TWO things… and both were by “accident.”

First, if you’ve been following B0b & Nan-Z since the beginning, you may know that we always change the key from the original version. So for sure we knew we were going to change the key from the official Someone You Loved music video. This isn’t unique. What’s unique is that when deciding what key we would go with, Liz (aka Nan-Z, who is our trusty musical director) miiight have accidentally made this Lewis Capaldi hit song a little higher than she meant to. Oopsies! It was a great opportunity for us to practice our falsetto’s though! Besides, some of the best Someone You Loved covers we’ve seen were sung in “comfortable” keys, so it was good to try to be a LITTLE different, hehe.

Second, have you noticed that B0b (aka Greg) and Nan-Z (aka Liz) are almost never in the same frame in our videos? This, along with changing up the tempos and keys — as well as always singing together throughout the entire song — are “B0b & Nan-Z rules” we made in the beginning. And we try to stick to them!
